Guide
If you are new to using OpenNotas, this documentation will guide you through familiarizing yourself with some concepts within the application.
Columns
OpenNotas is divided into 3 sections corresponding to 3 columns from left to right: Folder Management, Note Management, and Text Editor.
Folder Management
This is the leftmost column. Here, you can view/add/edit/delete folders for your notes. It is recommended to group related notes into folders to facilitate easier note management.
Note Management
When selecting a folder, the notes within that folder will be displayed in the second column. Here, you can also view/add/edit/delete notes. Deleted notes will be moved to the Trash. You can access the Trash to view the list of deleted notes and restore them if needed.
Additionally, you can pin/unpin, lock/unlock, and perform other actions on notes.
When a note is deleted in the Trash, it will no longer appear within the application.
Text Editor
When selecting a note, its content will be displayed in the final column. Here, you can proceed to edit the content of the note. The content is automatically saved after a few seconds of inactivity.
There are various features within the text editor, such as viewing detailed information, copying, or changing the preferred text editor.
Settings
OpenNotas maintains the simplest possible settings screen, with clear and distinct sections.
