Troubleshooting

Although we strive to provide the best experience, unexpected issues may occur while using OpenNotas. Here are some ways to troubleshoot common problems:

App Freezing or Crashing

If you are unable to open the app or it freezes on the loading screen or displays a blank white screen, it is recommended to back up your note data before attempting any further actions.

To back up your data, use the browser where you have downloaded OpenNotas and access the following URL: https://opennotas.io/sos. This will automatically export your note data to your device. If you have set a password for your notes, add the attribute pw=your_password to ensure the export includes locked notes. For example, if your password is 123456, access the URL https://opennotas.io/sos?pw=123456.

After confirming that the exported data is complete, try deleting and reinstalling the app or open an Issue on GitHub for further assistance!
