Backup/Restore Notes

OpenNotas provides the Backup and Restore feature to give you full control over your data.

Backup will create a JSON file containing all active notes, including those in the trash. If you have set a password for your notes, the application will prompt you to enter the password to backup locked notes, or you can choose to skip backing up locked notes.

The Restore feature requires a JSON file created from the "Export Data" feature. All notes will be imported into the application.

Note: OpenNotas cannot detect duplicate notes, so the data will be imported continuously as long as it is valid.

If sync is enabled, the imported notes will be synchronized immediately.
